Upper Blepharoplasty Special: $500 OFF

*Consultation Fee will be applied to treatment if scheduled.

What is Blepharoplasty?

The eyes have long been considered important as a way to express ourselves and reveal who we are. Unsurprisingly, many people aim to keep them youthful, vibrant, and responsive. If that’s your goal, too, then know that at Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery, our Providers consider eyelid lifts to be one of our specialties.

Age, sun exposure, smoking, and hereditary factors can all contribute to wrinkles, deep lines, and sagging skin around the upper eyes. All these factors can cause people to look older, as well as cause us to have tired, sad, or angry facial expressions.

Blepharoplasty, also referred to as an eyelift, eyelid tuck, or eyelid surgery, is a safe, effective, and common procedure that allows the Dermatology Provider to reshape the upper and lower eyelids. By removing excess fat, skin, and atrophied muscles, the eyelid can be reshaped to get rid of bags under the eyes and the excess skin of the upper eyelid, which often obstructs good

Am I a Good Candidate for an Eyelift?

If your eyes experience any of the following, you will benefit from blepharoplasty:

  • Tired, sleepy appearance
  • Under eye bags
  • Low eyebrows
  • Vision obstruction
  • Hooded upper eyelids

INJECTABLE SPECIALS:

  • BOTOX® Cosmetic – $12/unit (maximum 50 units – must be used by 6/30/25)
  • Dysport® – $4/unit (maximum of 150 units – must be used by 6/30/25)

How do Neurotoxin Injectables Work?

Injectable neurotoxins (wrinkle-relaxing botulinum toxin type A) are the most common non-invasive aesthetic procedure in the U.S., according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. While collectively, they are commonly called “Botox,” there are five different FDA-approved neurotoxins: BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, and DAXXIFY. The newest entry in the neurotoxin market is DAXXIFY, which received FDA approval in September 2022. All neurotoxins are injectable solutions that temporarily block nerve receptors in the muscle, preventing lines and wrinkles from forming.

Any JUVEDÉRM® or Restylane® Filler – $50 OFF 1st syringe, $75 OFF each additional syringe (filler must be used by 6/30/25)

What Is a Dermal Filler? What Areas Can Be Treated With Fillers?

Dermal fillers, also known as soft tissue fillers, are FDA-approved medical products used to create a smoother and fuller appearance to the skin and structures of the face. As we age, it is natural for our skin to start showing some changes as we lose some of the subcutaneous fat that supports our skin. Our skin also starts losing elasticity, allowing wrinkles to show on our faces. Injecting these fillers under the skin allows the lines and wrinkles to smooth out, while others can create structure on cheeks and chins. The most popular face areas to have dermal fillers are the nasolabial folds (the lines extending from the sides of the nose to the edges of the mouth), cheeks, chin, and lips. Fillers have also been FDA-approved for other body areas, including the tops of the hands and recessed scars.

Dermal fillers are not to be confused with BOTOX® Cosmetic, an injectable drug that “freezes” muscles to reduce wrinkles. There are several dermal fillers to choose from, with the two most popular brands being Restylane® and JUVÉDERM®. Within each of these families of filler, several subtypes allow Dermatology Providers to customize treatments. The FDA has approved four types of fillers; three are considered temporary fillers because they are made with materials that the body breaks down and absorbs over time. These materials are hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally found in the body; calcium hydroxylapatite, a mineral and a component of bone; and poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a synthetic, biodegradable product. Since these materials are eventually absorbed into the body, the results of the fillers are temporary and can last from six months to a couple of years.

RADIANCE SPECIALS:

Microneedling with Aesthetician – $325/treatment

Microneedling with PRP – $750/treatment

MICRONEEDLING

At Advanced Dermatology and Skin Surgery, our expert Dermatology Providers use a specially designed device to create tiny holes in the skin’s surface, followed by the application of a topical product directly onto the surface for a deeper level of absorption and penetration into the skin. Microneedling is an effective treatment for the following:

  • Sun damage
  • Age and brown spots
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stretch marks
  • Acne scarring
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Large pore size

How Does Microneedling Work?

By generating thousands of precise micro-injuries or “micro-channels” in the dermis, SkinPen stimulates new collagen synthesis without causing scar tissue formation. This innovative technology leverages the skin’s natural healing process. As the microchannels are created, the skin responds by producing new collagen and elastin in the treated areas, resulting in a revitalized and fresher appearance.

Although individual responses vary, we advise a series of three treatments spaced out over 4 to 6 weeks each for optimal results. A personalized treatment plan will be tailored to address your specific skin concerns and goals.

IPL Photofacial – $425 Full Face

What Do I Need to Know About an IPL Photofacial?

An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photofacial, also known as IPL therapy or IPL skin rejuvenation, is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to improve the appearance of the skin and treat various skin conditions. It uses a broad spectrum of light wavelengths to target specific pigments in the skin, such as melanin (responsible for skin pigmentation) and hemoglobin (found in blood vessels). IPL treatments are primarily used for the following purposes:

1.      Skin Rejuvenation: IPL can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, leading to a more youthful and refreshed complexion.

2.      Treatment of Hyperpigmentation: IPL can effectively reduce the appearance of sunspots, freckles, and other forms of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure or aging.

3.      Reduction of Vascular Lesions: IPL can target and improve the appearance of vascular lesions, such as spider veins, broken blood vessels (telangiectasia), and redness associated with conditions like rosacea.

4.      Acne Treatment: IPL can be used to target the bacteria responsible for acne, leading to a reduction in acne breakouts and inflammation.

Fraxel® Dual Laser Treatment – 10% off Full Face

What is Fraxel, and What Skin Concerns Does Fraxel Treat?

Fraxel Dual is a non-ablative, fractional resurfacing technology with two wavelengths (1550nm and 1927nm). As with other types of lasers, this laser targets water in the dermis (middle layer of your skin) by gently heating it to cause controlled thermal tissue damage. The laser creates microscopic columns of tissue injury across the treated area deep into your skin, stimulating collagen production so the skin can heal itself. Using two wavelengths allows the laser to treat both superficial depths of your skin while the other wavelength is used to go deeper into the skin. Because it is a fractional laser, it also treats a smaller area at a time, leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. The Fraxel DUAL treatment obtains results without the harsher treatment of an ablative laser, allowing for shorter downtime.

These treatments are called skin resurfacing or skin rejuvenation for apparent reasons. They stimulate the growth of new cells to help smooth the skin by stimulating its natural collagen production.

Ultherapy Brow or Lip Treatment – $100 OFF

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production in the skin. During an Ultherapy session, a device delivers focused ultrasound energy deep into the skin, targeting the layers where collagen is produced. This energy prompts the skin to undergo a natural healing response, including producing new collagen. Over two to three months, this leads to a tightening and lifting effect, improving the appearance of sagging skin, wrinkles, and fine lines. The FDA clears Ultherapy for lifting the skin on the neck, brow, and chin and improving lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.

Laser Hair Removal – Upper Lip & Chin Treatment – $125/treatment (package of 5 for $625)

Basics of Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal uses a concentrated beam of light that targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles without damaging the surrounding skin. The hair pigment absorbs the light and then turns into heat, damaging the follicles that produce hairs, and over time, this damage delays hair growth. Laser treatments will only work on hair in growth or anagen phases. This is the only time that the hair connects to the hair follicle. At any one time, the hair in your body goes through different phases. Therefore, when you go in for your first laser hair removal treatment, only about 20% of your hair will be affected.  Depending on the area, it can generally take up to 6 to 8 treatments, spaced out 4 to 8 weeks apart, to address the growth cycle. In about a week, you can expect the hairs to casually fall out of the follicle.

Holiday Glow: Elevate Your Skin Care Elegance

Skin care products are essential in maintaining and improving skin health by addressing its immediate and long-term needs. Proper skin care helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors, such as UV radiation, pollution, and free radicals, which can lead to premature aging, dullness, and other skin issues. Cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens, for instance, form a primary defense system—cleansing removes dirt and impurities, moisturizing keeps the skin hydrated and resilient, and sunscreen shields against harmful UV rays that can cause sun damage and skin cancer.

Additionally, targeted skin care products with active ingredients like antioxidants, retinoids, and hyaluronic acid can address specific skin concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, and fine lines. Consistent use of these products supports the skin’s natural renewal processes, keeping it balanced, nourished, and better equipped to repair and regenerate. Quality skin care products can help preserve your skin’s youthful appearance, texture, and overall health over time.

All Specials run from December 1 through December 31, 2024.
