Amy Nelson grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she completed her B.S. in Biology at George Fox University. She then received her Masters in Physician Assistant studies, graduating cum laude from Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. Amy has over 20 years of clinical experience. She began her career in Emergency Medicine. After relocating to Seattle in 2007 Amy switched her focus to medical and cosmetic dermatology, where she now has a decade of experience. She has a passion for partnering with her patients in their care.

Amy is board-certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

When not working, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They enjoy all that the beautiful outdoors has to offer including camping, water sports, and hiking.
