Jake grew up in the Inland Northwest and is a graduate of Gonzaga University, where he studied biology and philosophy with a focus in ethics. He received his Master of Health Science and Physician Assistant Degrees from Drexel University in Philadelphia in 2006. He has over 14 years of diverse experience as a physician assistant (PA) in emergency medicine, orthopedics, interventional radiology, and dermatology.Jake has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys time skiing, biking, climbing, and hiking with his family. You might also find him tinkering with various woodworking projects.Jake is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Washington Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Association of Physician Assistants, and he is board certified through the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants. Jake has trained in dermatology under the guidance of Paul Dunn, M.D. and Staci Hestdalen, M.D. and is currently accepting appointments for medical dermatology visits for both adults and children.
