Appointments

Our patients are seen by appointment only. We realize your time is valuable and we will do everything we can to see you at your appointed time. If you cannot keep your appointment, a 24 hour notice is required to cancel and reschedule your appointment. This allows us to give attention to another patient who is in need of medical attention. Thank you!  Be sure to check out our on-line appointment request form.

Prescriptions

Your prescriptions may be obtained at the pharmacy of your choice. Renewal of your prescriptions can be done over the phone, however after one year of not being seen, your prescription will not be refilled. This is in the interest of good medical practice and good medical care.

Medicare Insurance

We do accept assignment on Medicare claims. Our office will file your claim with Medicare. All payments will come directly to our office. We will also bill any supplemental insurance policy after we receive payment from Medicare. You will only be billed if your deductible has not been met, or your supplemental insurance did not cover your deductible and/or 20% co-pay.

Our Payment Policy

If your medical insurance plan is listed below then we will bill your claim for you. If your insurance company is not listed below, we will have you pay for the visit on the day you are seen and supply the "superbill" to send to your insurance company for reimbursement to you. For your convenience we accept VISA, Mastercard, cash, checks or money orders.

Times have changed and the big question is, "HOW DO I KNOW IF MY INSURANCE WILL PAY?" Insurance plans are becoming very particular about what "cosmetic" procedures they will pay for. What you may consider "medically necessary" and what your insurance thinks, may be different. Here’s how to determine who will pay:

Your insurance will pay for a treatment or procedure only if:

  • The treatment is necessary to prevent or detect disease.
  • Failure to treat will result in disease or worsening health.
  • The treatment is necessary to relieve pain and suffering.
  • Your insurance will not pay if:

  • Failure to treat will not affect your health.
  • Condition is merely unsightly (ugly) or bothersome. (Example: ugly moles, birthmarks, and benign growths.)
  • What if I want the doctor to do the procedure anyway?

The doctor will go over the treatment plan and our financial coordinator will discuss the fees with you and the appointment will be scheduled. A deposit is required at the time the procedure is scheduled. If you need some time to think about the procedure, no problem, when you call to schedule we will accept your VISA or Mastercard deposit over the phone or will call you to set up the appointment after the payment is received.
